Our corporate sailing regatta on Sydney Harbour, offers a unique and thrilling experience. Participants sail aboard our fleet of performance Beneteau & Sydney yachts. Each team is led by a highly qualified and experienced skipper who will guide and encourage everyone to take an active part in the steering and sailing of the yacht. The sailing regatta course is strategically planned for the prevailing winds and to take the yachts close to many of Sydney Harbour's best attractions. These regattas are a perfect team building experience, they are exciting, and for extra action look at our regatta enhancements such as yachting photographer, spectator boat, team caps, prizes and catering and drinks packages.
Your Itinerary:
13.30 - Welcome to the group by Race Director and introduction of skippers
13.45 - Orientation and safety briefing aboard the yachts
14.00 - Cast off, set sails, crews rehearse sailing manoeuvres and discuss tactics
14.45 - Teams make their way to the start area
14.50 - First warning signal - the yachts begin jockeying for the best position on the start line
14.55 - 5 minutes warning signal
15.00 - The race committee completes the starting sequence flags and then fires the starters gun! (It's incredible to see all the yachts crossing the line in quick succession.) The course is strategically planned to suit the prevailing winds of the day and takes in Sydney's best sites - or we can plan a more serious Olympic Triangle course
16.45 - Race finished
17.00 - Presentation on our terrace overlooking the marina
17.30 - Farewell
