The following courses are available on our liveaboard Colona VI and on land.

* PADI Enriched Air - Nitrox Course
It is only of two dives which can be done in just one day on the liveaboard. You will need to watch and video, complete knowledge review and then a final exam.By diving with enriched air rather than standard air you can extend your no decompression limits. This means more time underwater! For example, if you dive to 15 meters /50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on EANx 36 Nitrox gets you 220 minutes of no decompression time - an increase of 140 minutes!

* PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy
With PADI's Peak Performance Buoyancy course you are given an opportunity to polish up on your buoyancy control beyond the Open Water Diver level. This is over one day course that helps you with controlling your buoyancy for taking photos.

Some of the topics covered in course are:
- Peak Performance Buoyancy fundamentals
- Fine-tuning buoyancy underwater
- Weight position and distribution
- Streamlining
- Positioning and distributing weight for comfort and desired body position (trim in the water)
- Visualization techniques prior to dives
- Buoyancy checks
- Establishing neutral buoyancy during all segments of a dive
- Hovering

* PADI Project AWARE
The PADI Project AWARE course is designed to familiarize you with the plight of worldwide aquatic ecosystems and what you can do to protect them. This is a non diving specialty course which may also be conducted in conjunction with other PADI Specialty Diver courses. This course is normally conducted in just one day!
During this very interesting course you'll learn about aquatic ecosystem degradation and the conservation measures protecting aquatic resources.

This includes:
- The Project AWARE philosophy
- The importance and interdependence of worldwide aquatic ecosystems
- Current issues which regard fisheries, coastal zone management and marine pollution
- The status of several critically degraded marine environments and how you can help

* PADI AWARE Fish ID
With this very informative, useful over one day course, you will learn the finer points of identifying fish in the wonderful underwater world of Thailand / Myanmar. This is an excellent two dive specialty course for any diver wanting to expand their diving knowledge and abilities.
During your AWARE - Fish Identification Diver Specialty course, you'll practice basic fish identification techniques then collect fish identification data for submission to the Reef Fish Survey Project (if appropriate).

The course includes all the background you'll need to identify fish in your area, including:
- Information on Project AWARE and aquatic protection worldwide
- Characteristics of local fish families and species
- Fish survey techniques and strategies
- Fish identification dive planning, organization and procedures

* PADI AWARE Coral Reef Conservation
The AWARE - Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course teaches divers, snorkelers and non divers about the vital role of coral reefs in the marine environment. The course also familiarizes participants with the current state of the world's coral reefs and how they can help.
In your PADI AWARE Coral Reef Conservation course, you will discover the incredible importance of coral reef ecosystems. Although this is a non-diving specialty course, you will learn proper conservation methods for continual preservation and gain an in-depth understanding of your underwater world.

* PADI Deep Diver
With this two day course you will teach you techniques that will make recreational deep diving safe and fun. You will learn deep diving limits and how to stay with in them, while gaining valuable experience of diving to 40m. You'll learn deep dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and hazards. You'll also put this knowledge to the test as you go on four open water dives that range from 18 - 40 meters / 60 - 130 feet. You will see how depth effects colour, and how pressure affects a range of objects at depth. Your skills and abilities as a diver will improve as you practice deep diving techniques.

* PADI Driver Propulsion Vehicle
Now you can zoom around in no time at all with the techniques that you will learn during the one day DPV course.

You will learn the following:
- Diver propulsion vehicle dive planning organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards
- Equipment and procedure considerations
- How to avoid harming fragile aquatic life

* PADI Multi-level and Computer Dive
If you plan your dive at two or more depths you can increase your dive time and the safety margins. Find out how to do this in just one day course and get a real handle on the Recreational Dive Planner, Wheel Version and Dive Computers. As well you will learn about multilevel dive planning, organization, procedures, hazards, benefits techniques, and enjoyment of multilevel diving with The Wheel and/or with modern dive computers.

* PADI Night Diver
This two days course helps if you're interested in photography, or perhaps the aquatic realm, a night dive has a lot too. There is a great contrast between the daylight hours to night! See the day time fish asleep in the crevices while the nocturne’s like cuttlefish are out on the town. You'll learn night dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to control your buoyancy, navigate and very importantly how to communicate at night.

* PADI Underwater Photographer
During this one day course you will be taught to understand the use of natural and artificial light, the basics of the camera components and getting the right exposure. Develop basic u/w photography techniques and learn how to compose a picture.

You will also learn underwater photography dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to care for and maintain your camera equipment.
Camera and film charged for extra, or use your own.
