If you want to learn to scuba dive, the first step is to take a PADI Open Water Dive course, the most widely recognized and respected diving certification in the world. Within a few days, you can be enjoying the underwater world of Lombok Marine Adventures. Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. The minimum age is 10 years old.
During the course led by our certified instructors, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by: • Completing five pool dives • Doing knowledge development sessions • Making four open water dives Lombok Marine Adventures’s PADI specialty courses: • Drift dive • Night dive • Deep dive • Underwater photographer • Peak performance buoyancy • Wreck dive • Nitrox dive • AWARE coral reef conservation specialty Our company supplies everything you will need all in one package. You will receive a PADI open water crew pack that includes the open water dive manual and charts. Videos will be shown in our comfortable classrooms. You will receive a log book, and all dive equipment including mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt, wetsuit, BCD, booties and tanks is provided for the dives. * Emergency First Response EFR gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and first aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, EFR prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations. No dive certification is required, and there is no minimum age limit. This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses: EFR - Primary Care and EFR - Secondary Care. Together, these courses proved extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing optional (yet recommended) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen sections.Depending on the amount of home study, the Primary and Secondary courses maybe completed in as little as four hours. To complete the course, you will need a participant pack, which includes a manual, binder and first aid pack * Adventure Diver Here's your chance try underwater photography and wreck diving because you can sample three dives of your choice, you can get a taste of what you like, and feel more comfortable in the water, strengthening your underwater skills and letting you enjoy diving more than ever. Specialties Available to divers 10 years old and older: • AWARE-Fish Identification Underwater Naturalist • Boat Underwater Navigator • Peak Performance Buoyancy • Underwater Photography Additional Specialties Available to divers 12 years old and older: • Altitude Multilevel • Deep Night • Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) • Search and Recovery • Drift Diving • Underwater Videography • Dry Suit • Wreck The recommended course hours are total of nine, and the maximum open water training is three dives over one day. After your PADI Adventure Diver certification, you can take the next step by completing two more adventure dives. If you completed five total adventure dives that include deep and navigation, you're an PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. PADI Adventure Dives can also count toward PADI Specialty Diver certifications. * Advanced Open Water Diver The Adventures in Diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment. To do the advanced course, you need the PADI Open Water Diver certification and a minimum age of 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver). This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure dive, Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following: • Altitude Diver Boat Diver • Drift Diver Deep Diver • Dry Suit Diver Dive Propulsion Vehicle • Multilevel Diver Night Diver • Peak Performance Buoyancy Search and Recovery • Underwater Naturalist Underwater Videographer • Underwater Photographer Underwater Navigator • AWARE Fish Identification Wreck Diver The course takes about 15 hours, and the minimum open water training is five dives over two days. * Rescue Diver To start the PADI Rescue Diver, you need to be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver, have to be at least 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver) and need to successfully complete a sanctioned CPR program within the past 24 months.Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the five open water sessions, you'll cover: • Self-rescue and diver stress • Dive first aid • Emergency management and equipment • Swimming and non-swimming assists • Panicked diver response • Underwater problems • Missing diver procedures • Surfacing the unconscious diver • Underwater artificial respiration • Egress (exits) • First aid procedures for pressure related accidents • Dive accident scenarios The course takes about 25 hours to complete, and the minimum open water training is five sessions over two days. * Specialty Diver With the PADI Specialty Diver Programs, you can chart your course for a colorful collection of dives. The PADI Specialty Dives takes the underwater adventure to unbelievable depths. Achieving PADI Specialty ratings can take anywhere from as little as one day to a full weekend of diving. Get five specialty ratings, and you will be on your way to becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver. * PADI courses - Bubble Maker The Bubblemaker program is an introduction to the thrill of breathing underwater. If you're eight or nine years of age, now is your chance to take the plunge with a PADI Instructor and go pool diving. * Junior Scuba Diver and Junior Open Water Kids who are 10 years or older can begin the PADI Junior Scuba Diver, PADI Junior Open Water certification and the wide varieties of PADI certifications that will help them safely explore the underwater world.
