This tour is for the avid fly fisher who wants to experience some of the world's best fly fishing at a variety of sensational waters in one of the most pristine high country environments anywhere.

We are fully accredited and a members of the "Trout Guides and Lodges Association"

The Tasmanian trout season starts early August and goes until late April.
The best trout fishing is in the Central Highlands of Tasmania where we have over 3000 mostly very shallow stillwater lakes and lagoons all with truly wild brown and rainbow trout.
I highly recommend the stillwater fishing as this is what Tasmania is famous for.
There are a whole range of different seasonal fishing opportunities and techniques with summer dry fly fishing being the best. Our dry fly fishing covers a number of deadly techniques, such as fishing the daily "mayfly, midge and beetle" hatches "drifting wind lanes" "polaroid sight fishing" shallow margins and others. Nymph fishing is also effective on all waters.
Typical destinations are waters such as Little Pine and Penstock Lagoons (both being fly only), Arthurs, Woods, the Nineteen Lagoons and numerous others. Some waters with many trout and others with a smaller number of big very big trout are available during the whole season using both methods.
Tour inclusions.
We provide all inclusive tours with everything from purpose built boat, quality equipment, waders, wet weather gear, lunch, tuition for those new to the sport and a Tasmanian fishing License.
Extended Tours 2 to 5 days.
When we stay overnight in the Highlands we have the chance to go out for an early morning fish hunting the margins for "tailing" or "midge" feeding brown trout then back for a late breakfast if the weather is good for that then out again for the rest of the day at one or more of the best venues.
Accommodation.
Overnight accommodation in the Central Highlands is an extra and I can recommend good lodge options to anyone wishing to take an extended tour.
We are happy to provide a range of alternative arrangements to suit you plans.

The all inclusive rates for this season are as follows:
1 Angler at $640.00 (Aus) per day – Guiding only.
2 Anglers at $740.00 (Aus) per day – Guiding only.
