Our BC mountain goat hunts are conducted in tough country. For these hunts, good physical condition and a strong mindset are mandatory. In the past we have run 100% on these hunts, but you definitely have to work for it. There is a good population of goats here and we only take a few hunts a year to ensure this. These goat hunts run anywhere from August 1st to October 10th. This is a backpack type hunt that lasts 10 days for two hunters (2 plus one guide) or 7 days for one hunter (1 plus one guide). Hunting mountain goats in BC can be not only an exhilarating experience but an extremely rewarding one as well. - Good gore-tex rain gear
- Toque and mitts
- Good hiking boots (waterproof)
- Camera/film
- Good internal or external frame pack
- Laundry/change of clothes
