Especially within the area of Kaliakra cape and 20 km north from there, which is actually our diving operating territory, you may observe most of the typical Black Sea species living in the reefs. The coastal contour is magnificent – the high cliffs are breathtaking and the rocky formations rising from the sea bed are remarkable. The underwater topography is very specific also. Most of the shore diving sites are very shallow (less than 12m) and close to the cliffs which initially gives a wrong sense that these could be explored easily. Actually many of them have limited access from the shore and certain water entry/exit techniques must to be applied. However, once you have started your exploration dive you realize that all of your efforts become over counted by the impressions you take. We conduct these various shore dives every week, depending on the program of the center. The daily schedule consists of two dives as a standard number minimum. The meeting point is in our facility at 08.30 am in the morning. Although it may be looking a bit early hour for somebody on a holiday, divers know that the earlier departure gives better opportunity for good diving conditions later on. From the most variable places for accommodation in the area, including the city of Varna, it will take less than 1 hour of driving to come to our diving center. We provide the following GPS coordinates for your convenience and easy navigation; 43º 26 052 N, 028º 29 563 E. To join us on these dives you have to ask in advance to check the possibility, especially during the active diving season. Notes:
