First we visit a much appreciated sport climbing areas like Turzii Gorges then a technical and difficult area like Bicaz Gorges and impressive Costila Mountains.
You can visit and explore the impressive rock climbing areas of Turzii Gorges and choose from the variety of routes and challenge nature. We can also guide you Cluj city and venture together in a 6 hour trip across the mountains from Transylvania to Orientali Carpathians to Lacu Rosu resort and Bicaz Gorges.
A new climbing area in Romania is Rarau Mountains with few huge limestone towers and walls. There are many beautiful routes for free style. Spend two full days here to climb in this area then descending on picturesque Bistrita valley to Bicaz Gorges.
Bicaz Gorges are the deepest gorges from Carpathian mountains and it is a real rock climbing paradise. With huge walls over 300m high, including spectacular ceilings, deep crackers, great clear faces is an area recommended for real climbers. Hasmasul Mic wall is a smaller and easier area, best for climbing exercise and warm up. Our guide shows you all the gorges and rock walls.
You will find the best information’s and recommendations and your climbing activities will be supervised by our guide. Rock climbing in Bicaz Gorges isn't for beginners. You can as well climb the Suhardul Mic wall, or if you aren’t interested to climb, Hasmas Mountains offer a great variety of very picturesque mark and unmark routes. We can also guide you to Gheorgheni and Brasov city, go to Bucegi Mountains in Busteni resort and to Costila Mountain to climb in Tancu Mic Wall.
