Ice climbing and mountaineering are activities that involve risk. Here we recognize that people want to learn how to identify and manage the risks associated with climbing during the winter and spring seasons. We stress safety awareness and promote personal responsibility. Our programs aim to provide you with the knowledge to move efficiently over varied terrain, evaluate future partners and select appropriate climbs. Learn skills that will enhance your mountain experiences.
It is hard to explain the allure of ice climbing to people that have never done it before. Ice is a temporal medium, it changes all the time and presents new challenges for every ascent. For this reason veteran ice climbers can enjoy a lifetime of exciting and adventurous experiences with their partners. Our programs focus on safety awareness and promote personal responsibility. Not only do we want you to have a safe and enjoyable experience with our guides but we also want you to learn valuable skills along the way. In the winter we provide boots, crampons, ice axe(s), harness, helmet, ropes, and snow & ice protection. For overnight trips we also provide tents, sleeping bags, compression stuff sack, stoves, food, fuel and camping fees. Climbers need to provide backpack, food, fluids, personal items and appropriate clothing. Member discount: Notes:
