The diving center is fully equipped with the newest Scubapro gear, latest generation of Bauer Compressors, Enriched Air (NITROX) and 12 liters steel tanks with mono INT valve (also available on request tanks with double valve and DIN adapters). Specially developed for divers, the traditional dive boats are comfortable and roomy and come equipped with first aid kits, oxygen tanks, toilet and fresh water for showering and rinsing off. Manado's Hospital, equipped with a hyperbolic chamber, can be reached in less than one hour from most of the dive sites inclusive of the Resort.
In addition to diving or snorkeling in the world famous Marine Park of Bunaken, the Resort also offers excellent dive and snorkeling sites right at its doorstep where a large variety of critters and other rare species commune. Lekuan I. The three dive sites of "Lekuan" are considered to be among the best of Manado. A sandy sloop will reach a cliff covered with anthills, you often see barrier sharks, turtles and numerous fish species like snappers. Lekuan II. A wavy reef - with many vertical falls, splits and holes - makes this dive one of the favorites. You have an opportunity to take beautiful pictures with the wide-angle. Lekuan III. An attractive and different underwater territory. Around 40 m a fall of sand leads to rocks which, for obscure reasons, often are used as a resting site for sharks. Celah Celah. "Splits", an expression to define this dive characterized by undersea fjords and by one of the most attractive walls. Alung Banua. Wall with many opportunities for macro photography. It is possible to admire a panorama formed by small caves, and with a wide-angle lens you can capture fantastic images. Mandolin Point. The name seems to derive from the "harmony" one can feel on this dive site. There are various opinions about which depth is to be considered the best, next to the surface, half the way down or at 30 to 35 m. However all divers agree on the fact that at Mandolin every place is spectacular. Turtles, sharks, sea eagles, Napoleon, moray eels, sea anemones and Acropora Corals are present everywhere. The slight current keeps impressive horny corals in motion. Notes:
