We offer fulled guided trophy Whitetail Deer and Eastern Wild Turkey hunting in a picturesque setting on 2000 acres of family land along the Tallapoosa River. This family land has never been previously open for public hunting. The hunting pressure has been light therefore. Lodging is provided in a log home overlooking the river. Meals are included in the package. More economical lodging is available in a rustic cabin.
This year we offer one early season hunt to capitalize on those days when the deer have not learned that the season is open. During this time, the hunter should see the maximum number of deer; be relatively certain of doe harvest; and have a reasonable chance for a buck harvest.
We will take a total of 6 hunters during the season and we have designed our hunts so that the hunter can be reasonably sure of an opportunity for harvest. We will have two hunters "in camp" for each hunt and the hunts will be fully guided. The dates are selected so that if the weather is predicted to be adverse during the chosen time to hunt, we will call and pick a better time in and around the scheduled hunt. If a hunter is in a quest for a "grand slam" and in the unlikely event that harvest has not occurred on the two day hunt, we will extend the hunt as needed. Our harvest is restricted to mature "long-bearded" gobblers and the harvest limit is one Gobbler for the two day hunt.
