We promote the sport of fly-fishing and our goal is to introduce as many people as possible to this amazing art and the tranquility of Nature and God's Creation! We will ensure you get the most value for your money! We specialize in fly fishing for yellow fish on the Vaal River - one of the world's most prolific fisheries! Fish for these "bonefish of the river" in magical African surroundings; hear the cry of the Fish Eagle trying to drown out your screaming reel as a 3kg yellow fish hurtles through the water!
Our Guiding service will endeavor to make each trip a unique experience. A comprehensive introductory course will start of the day. All aspects of flyfishing for yellows will be covered: rod set-up, entomology and fly selection, what to look for and where to fish, casting methods, fighting and landing fish and good etiquette are amongst the things that we will teach you!
We will assist you and offer advice until we break for a well deserved lunch and drinks. After lunch you will be given the opportunity to use your newly acquired skills to pursue your quarry with a guide close-by for reminders and pointers.
* Day trips: Our day trips are normally within an hours drive from Johannesburg and can be set up at your convenience. We specialize in beginners but will take flyfishers of any skill level! Our packages are custom designed to suit your budget and aimed at giving you the most enjoyable day on the water that is possible!
* Corporate and weekends: We will co-ordinate your team building or corporate weekend from start to fishy finish! All you have to worry about is relaxing and enjoying. Various other activities can be included to compliment your flyfishing weekend. Accommodation can be arranged, varying from self-catering, to wonderfully spoilt!
* Husband and wife packages: Imagine while hubby is busy wrestling the Vaal monster, you are pampered with a full body massage, manicure or pedicure, aromatherapy treatment or Indian head massage. * Adventure packages: We guide will escort you to various venues in South Africa where an experience of a lifetime awaits you! In one day you will be challenged to catch a fish on fly, hunt an African antelope and shoot a fast-flying wild pigeon or other game bird accomplish this and feast the night away! Our guides will be with you all the way and assist you wherever advice is needed!
