The East part of Carpathian Mountains named "Carpatii Orientali" is a vast area with many individual mountains ridges, large depressions and deep valleys. Here is the largest volcanic area from Europe and a great collection of mineral springs. Our tour cross by foot or in our mini coach the most representative areas from all Orientali Carpathians. The hiking trails are easy and medium difficulty, accommodation in rural houses, mountain huts and hotels during the route and breakfast and dinner will provided by us. We will have care by the luggages in hiking trip and our guides will help you all the time.
This route require a minimum to moderate hiking experience, a good health and individual equipment (hiking boots for three seasons, warm clothes, rain cap and jacket).
The route start from Bucharest airport, then transfer in North of Romania with a night train, cross Maramures area including spectacular wooden churches, Bucovina with great Orthodox monasteries. In the middle of Bucovina make a river rafting on Bistritei river (include in price), cross Rarau mountains then on Neamt area climb famous Ceahlau Mountain also called the Moldavian Olimp.
On Szekely land visit and hike in spectacular Bicaz gorges, a rock climbing paradise. In Transylvania hike in a volcanic area then visit great Dracula Castle and spend the nights in quiet rural house and small resorts. After Ciucas hiking tour descent to a huge salt mine - Slanic Prahova and return after 12 days inside the mountain area to Bucharest city.
Prices: 798 Euro/person for 20 - 24 people; 930 Euro/person for minimum 10 people; 1160 Euro/person for minimum 5 people; 1620 Euro/person for minimum 2 people.
Suppliment for single room: 140 Euro/person.
Access and visitor taxes: 40 Euro/person payable in first day in Romania.
