Our college is the highest rated PADI dive center on the Costa del Sol – it is the only PADI Gold Palm 5* IDC Resort. We teach courses from beginner to instructor level with Instructor Development Courses and Instructor Examinations taking place every February, April/May and November. PADI Europe conducts the Instructor Examinations at Happy Divers because it is the only PADI IE location on the Costa del Sol.

PADI college Costa del Sol has been a part of our company since the beginning of 2004, the college is the training department of Happy Divers and specializes in PADI PRO training. Our career development programs and internships train focused and motivated divers from Advanced Open Water Diver to Instructor level.

We have a whole range of PADI programs available starting every day, from Bubblemaker to Divemaster. A specialty of ours is diving with kids - Bubblemaker, Seal Team and Junior Open Water courses are in high demand and start regularly. Our center is fully stocked with equipment for kids e.g. easily adjustable BCD’s and 5-liter scuba tanks they can carry and handle themselves. All our courses are taught in English, German, Spanish and French.

"Nirtox for Free" has been the topic of the year at our college. 80% of all our tank fills are now Nitrox fills and most dives are done with Nitrox 32. All our staff members are diving with Nitrox , and as a result more and more divers are following this trend and signing up for PADI Enriched Air Diving Course. Accordingly we have reduced the number of air tanks filled to promote the use of Nitrox . The availability of Nitrox is guaranteed by the first ever built L&W Nitrox Mixmaster, a membrane compressor which fills 450 l/min.

We are located on the beach of Atalaya Park Hotel with a wonderful view of Gibraltar and the Moroccan coast. We have access to the hotels facilities for our training purposes, with three pools including a heated indoor pool. For all qualified divers, we dive twice a day all year round, our 6 meter Bombard rib can take up to 12 divers to various dive sites up and down the coast.
