Kawanda is located in Tete province, north from the Cahora Bassa lake, and it is an excellent area for hippo and crocodile hunts, but it offers also great possibilities for hunting buffalo, kudu, impala, bushpig and other smaller species. In this area there is the possibility to hunt very good leopard, but the number of licenses is very limited, only two annually.

1 hippo and 1 crocodile - EUR 11.600

Daily rate - EUR 750
Observer daily - EUR 200

Rates Include:

Transport with charter flight to/from Langwa, Zambia (charter can be organized from Lusaka or Tete, but it wouldn’t be included), Mozambique hunting license, services of a professional hunter and all camp staff, full board during the safari and drinks in reasonable quantities (wine and beer included).

Rates Don’t Include:

International and national air fares, hotels before and after the safari, hunting license (per animal), trophy fees, anti poaching and local community fees (not included also for trophy fees included in packages), rifle import permit (€ 200/rifle), alcoholic drinks, tips and personal extras.
