Held once again in Cowes, Isle of Wight, UK, this event has already established itself as a major attraction in the Swan racing calendar. The 14th edition of the Swan Europeans consist of five days of Solent racing organized by the prestigious Royal Yacht Squadron along with a customary program of social events. The Swan European Regatta is open to all Swan yachts and, as one the feature events of the Swan racing calendar, has previously attracted a wide range of competitors from across the globe spanning the classic and modern Swan model range.

Northern Child is a Swan 51 which is being successfully run as a charter yacht for the past 8 years. The boat is beautifully equipped for racing and constantly professionally maintained. The boat comes with a full set of North Sails racing sails and 2 asymmetric spinnakers. For the Swan European Regatta, we would suggest a program of 2 days training (on the 10th and 11th July) followed by the 5 days racing with the lay day in the middle. The ideal number of racing crew on Northern Child is between 12 and 14, incl. the permanent crew. Accommodation is available onboard for a maximum of 12 people incl. the permanent crew or alternative accomodation can be found ashore.

When racing with individuals on board, our objective is to provide each guest with a great time racing in the Solent. The two professional crew will train the crew to ensure that the racing is safe, fun and that each crew member is able to make a valuable contribution to the team effort. Although prior race or sailing experience is preferred, it is not essential. The 2 training days represent a great opportunity for each crew member to get familiar with the yacht and the racing manoeuvres. Northern Child offers the opportunity for crew to experience some exhilarating racing and fabulous socializing.

The price to charter Northern Child as a wholeboat is £12,400.

- The use of the vessel and her racing equipment
- The service of at least 2 professional crew
- NSR certificate
- Delivery in Cowes

Price Excludes:
- Race entry fees
- Marina fees (included in the race entry fees if moored in Cowes during the regatta)
- Onboard food and beverages
- Any other specific requirements you may have (incl. crew clothing for example).

We will also ask for a £3,000 security deposit in case there is any damage when racing.
