With the ornithologist, you will visit the Natural Park of Aiguamolls de l’Empordà and Rosas Bay, Area of Baix Ter and Ter Bay, Cap de Creus Natural Park, Mountains of Sierra de l’Albera, Delfià and Mollet de Peralada, Montgrí Massif and Medas Island. Excursions can last up to approximately 7 hours in winter and 10 hours in summer, depending on solar light time.

If you have a list of interesting species, please attach it to reservation request. Some days before your arrival we will confirm you the birds you will be able to see within only 10% error margin. Spring and autumn are the best seasons to visit us as migrations are having place. The Pyrenees, in the north, are a natural barrier that makes the marsh area of Aiguamolls de l’Empordà a pleasant place for the birds to rest in their long trip.

In Catalonia 354 species have been cataloged in categories A, B and C according to the AERC (European Register and Rarities Committee) from which 40% are currently nesting in the Empordà. Our professional ornithologists are experts devoted fulltime to study the birds and the environment in the natural parks of the Empordà area in Catalonia. Ornithologists speak Catalan, Spanish, English and French.
