Panama is recognized as one of the top fishing destinations in the Americas. The word Panama is derived from the Indian word “abundance of fish”. Our expeditions are action packed and authentic as we are still utilizing the native “panga” style fishing boats for fishing along the Azuero Peninsula on the Pacific Coast. The other great location being offered is fishing in the Gulf of Chiriqui. Our guides are the local fishermen who are very familiar with the choice areas to be fished.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Panama City, Republic of Panama. Arrive Tocumen Airport, Panama City, Republic of Panama. Transfer to the Hotel.
Day 2: Flight from Albrook Air Field to David, Chiriqui, Panama. Transfer to Albrook Airport for 1 hour flight to David, Chiriqui. Transfer from David airport to the lodge. Resort and fishing orientation upon arrival to Lodge. Rest of the day spent at leisure - pool, beach, cocktails. Dinner at 6:00 pm.
Days 3 - 6: Fishing at Lodge Punta Burica, Gulf of Chiriqui, Panama. Wake up call at 6:00 am for breakfast. Depart on fishing trip at 7:30 am. Fish until 3:30 pm. Relaxation time upon arrival until dinner. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm.
Days 7 & 8: Return to Panama City - Home Departure.
