Montana Angler Fly Fishing partners with fellow outfitter, friend and overnight expert Tom Jenni to offer the finest luxury camping trips in Southwest Montana. A crew of personable and highly trained guides specialized in overnight trips will show you how to camp and fish like you have never dreamed possible. A gear boater and camp chef will stay behind each morning to break down the tents and kitchen while we are fishing and then race down river to set up the evening camp before we arrive. Once our day of float fishing is done, we row up to a remote beach with a fully set camp awaiting us. Our gear guide already has tents, tarps, stocked bar and kitchen ready to go when we arrive. Wake up each morning to the smell of hot coffee and the sound of a sizzling breakfast. Evenings are spent around the campfire, enjoying delicious food and great company!

The Camping: Campsites are located along the river, they are not developed road accessible sites. We float the entire camp down the river on gear rafts. We provide all equipment needed for a world class camp including tents, heavy duty sleeping pads, sleeping bags, tables, chairs, tarps, toilets, grills, lanterns, coolers, etc. A gear guide and camp cook breaks down camp each morning after we leave for a day of guided fly fishing in our drift boats. The gear boater then races ahead of the fishing boats to set up the next nights camp.

The Food: Unless you or your spouse has a culinary degree from CIA, we'll bet you eat better on the river than you do at home. Dinners include appetizers, fresh salads, tasty sides and main entrees such as grilled salmon, rib eye steaks and rack of lamb. Delicious Dutch oven prepared deserts await those that still have room. A generous bar is set up each evening for your enjoyment. Hot breakfasts include favorites such as French toast, omelets and more. Don't be surprised if we pull over for lunch and fire up the grill!

The Fishing: Montana's Madison and Yellowstone Rivers are frequently rated as the number one and two fly fishing rivers in North America. Camping along these legendary rivers gives you the luxury of wade fishing over the evening rise as the sun sets each evening. We also have the jump on other guides doing day trips since we are several miles downriver of traditional put ins ensuring we have the first shot at the fish each day while casting from our drift boats.
