West Siberia – Kurgan, Chelyabinsk, Kemerovo – is considered the best region for the hunt for Siberian Roebuck (capreolus pygargus), one of the biggest subspecies of Roebucks. The Roebucks, which have been taken here, show the highest trophy qualities. The trophies of Siberian Roebuck from Kurgan area take the first places in "SCI Record Book of Trophy Animals". Rutting period of Siberian Roebuck is from the end of August till the end of September.
Driving hunts, on which arrival of Moose or Wild Boars is possible, are organized on a hunter’s wish. The schedule of hunt can be the following: Rising and breakfast at 04:00 a.m. Departure to the estate at 04:30 a.m. Beginning of the hunt is between 05:00 and 05:30 in the morning twilight. From 05:30 till 09:00 or 10:00 – hunt from the blinds, by stalking, on jeep: this depends on situation. Dinner is at 13:00 and then the rest till 17:00 (transfer to another place of hunt is possible). Hunt for Roebucks from the blinds, by stalking, on jeeps is from 17:00 till 19:30. Supper is at 20:30.
Accommodation: Hunting lodges, hotels (single, double rooms). Transfer: 3 hours flight Moscow – Kurgan or direct flight from Europe to Yekaterinburg, then about 4 hours by car to the hunting area.
