Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Bagdogra IXB / NJP – Gangtok

Day 2: Gangtok..ss and halt

Day 3: Gangtok to Yuksom (Trek base in west Sikkim)

Day 4: Trek Begins from Yuksom for Tshoka, Alt. 2048m/12 km/6 hrs. O/N Tents / huts
Trek from Yuksom to Tshoka 18 Km time taken approx. 6 hrs. Walk through dense forest of pine and oak. After crossing river Prek Chu it is straight 70 degree uphill climb this is the toughest stage in the entire. Treks then we reach Bakhim the trail from Bakhim passes through magnolia and rhododendron trees. Tshoka is a small village. Overnight stay in a tent or lodge.

Day 5: Trek Tshoka to Dzongri, Alt 4050 m/9 km/5 hrs. O/N tents/huts
Trek from Tshoka to Dzongri is still a steep climb taking approx 5hrs. This leads us through dense forest of rhododendrons. There are over 400 flowering species in Sikkim. A place called Deorali Dara provides a magnificent view of the mountains. Once we reach Phidang we take a break. After further climbing we reach Dzongri, here the vegetation is thin and only small bushes and shrubs are found. A tourist hut is available for the night stay.

Day 6: Acclimatization and excursion at Dzongri. O/N in tents/huts
It is usually overcrowded and noisy. A walk to Dabla Khang( DzongriTop) in the wee hours of the morning provides one of the most magnificent view of the mountains and the whole range of the peaks can be seen. Acclimatization here is must for further ascending trekkers. Overnight stay in a tent

Day 7: Trek Dzongri to Thangsing, Alt 3930 m/8 km/4 hrs, O/N tents/huts
Trek from Dzongri to Thangsing takes about approx 4hrs after walking through the bushes and hedges. At first its walking in the plain table land after few hours we rapidly descend down the river Prek on. The way one can view almost all the ranges above all Mt Pandim looks beautiful. In Thangsing besides. The Govt hut its all barren here is no civilization. Overnight stay in a tent

Day 8: Trek- Thangsing to Lamune (3 hrs) Camp at Lamune.
Trek from Thangsing to Lamune Lake takes about approx 3hrs its just a easy trek through thin vegetation. Overnight stay in a tent. Samiti is basically, in the base of mount Pandim because of its close attachment. With Mt Pandim here a small beautiful lake has emerged. When it gets snowed the lake with the mountain. Provides a spectacular unforgettable view. Over night in tent.

Day 9: Trek - Lamune - Samiti to Goechala (4940m) and back to Samiti (7 hrs)
Trek from Lamune-Samiti to Goechala back to Samiti takes about approx 7 hrs, the trek starts with easy grading. We come across Zemathang which means (sand - plain land) the trail goes through moraines before reaching Goechala one can view green lake formed right below the path deep down the hill, finally one reaches the second viewpoint from here one can view southern phase of Kanchendzonga. Further trek takes you to yangitaar to spent one night in this place is worthwhile one can witness avalanche of Mt Kanchendzonga this place is recommendable because it is quite different than other entire trek, but during winter it is not possible due to thick snow which covers the path and makes it difficult to walk.

Day 10: Lamune to Kokchurung. (4 hrs) O/N at tents / huts.
Trek from Samiti to Kokchurung takes about 3hrs spent. Overnight stay in lodge.

Day 11: Kokchurung to Tshoka
Trek from Kokchurung to Tshoka takes about 5 hrs is gradual descend through thick forest it's a long and Tiring walk this route joins the route of Phidang to Dzongri trail. Overnight stay in a tent

Day 12: Tshoka to Yuksom (6hrs)
The trek from Tshoka to Yuksom takes about 6hrs. Overnight stay in a hotel. Trek Ends.

Day 13: Yuksom to Pemayangtse-Via Khecocheplari lake.Halt in Pelling.

Day 14: Full day walking tour and visit to Pemayangtse Monastery & Rabdentse Palace ruins..Halt

Day 15: Return drive to IXB/Bhadrapur for flight to onward journey. Trip ends
