Located only 100 miles from the Northwest Territories, this lodge is in the heart of trophy fishing country. Geographically the island is located on a collection of 21 pristine lakes and river systems, rather than just one lake. These lakes are situated smack dab in the middle of the most productive northern pike, lake trout and grayling territory in Canada. The lodge is a three-level, all-log structure with a commanding view of the lake. It houses the dining area, stone fireplace, game area, fishing tackle shop, fully stocked bar, kitchen and upper level meeting room. Each cabin is constructed of hand-peeled logs harvested in the area. The four-person cabins have two complete bath areas with showers and flush toilets, one off each bedroom. Two person cabins are also available.
Your package will include round trip airfare from Winnipeg, Manitoba, hearty breakfast, shore lunch and gourment dinner daily, modern cabins with hot showers, experienced guide for every two fishermen, 16 foot Alumarine boat, spring-ride swivel seats with backrests, new 25 hp Mercury motors and gas, fishing license, and all taxes. Not inlcuded in the package are liquor (they do have a full bar, plus beer, wine, soda), hotel transfers, gratuities to guides and staff.
