Remotely situated within the subarctic wilderness of Canada, this lodge is located 525 miles north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The lake is 70 miles long and comprises over 60,000 acres of pristine northern waters. Every year guests commonly catch and release 20-30 pound plus northern pike, 50 pound plus lake trout, and 3-4 pound average walleye's and trophy sized arctic grayling.
The lake offers fishing diversity at it's best. This is the only lodge located on the lake, there are no communities and no cabins making this a truly remote and very private world class fishing lodge. Constructed in 1987, the lodge features a bar and lounge, entertainment room with satellite TV and a six-man jacuzzi with an adjacent sauna. The executive conference room is fully equipped with audio/visual technology, board tables and chairs. Each cabin has a wood burning fireplace, 2 queen sized beds, a full 3 piece bathroom and comes equipped with electric heat. Want to be completely on your own? Then try one of the new wilderness outpost camps. For guests staying at the main lodge, the option of flying to one of several remote fishing lakes for a day is available. Notes:
