Diving sites on Tenerife are for all level of experience. The underwater fauna is very abundant on the Canarian Islands and you can enjoy at least 20 various dive sites with Easy Blue World Tenerife.
Abades Playa
- Depth: 0-9 m
- Level: all levels, PADI School & trial dives as well, very easy access
- Characteristics: lots of small colorful fish, seahorse, barracuda, moray eel, cuttlefish, octopus, sea hare & cucumber, abundant UW vegetation on the rocks, sea grass on sandy areas.
Abades Cave & Barracuda Point
- Depth: 10-18 m (40 with UW scooters)
- Level: all levels from the 4th dive Open Water Course, very easy access
- Characteristics: barracuda, sardine, stingray, eagle ray, angel shark, trumpet fish, garden eel, grouper, sponges and sea urchins covering rock formations, small caves, sea grass on sandy areas.
Abades Mountain (5 min. drive from Abades, 15 min. with UW scooters)
- Depth: 18 m
- Level: boots required for starting from the shore, easy dive if no wave, otherwise strong surge, strong currents below 20 m
- Characteristics: grunt (big schools), trumpet fish, glasseye, stingray, eagle ray, sponges and sea urchins covering rock formations below 5 m depth, caves.
Abades Bay (5 min. drive from Abades)
- Depth: 20 m
- Level: boots required, easy dive
- Characteristics: sardine, garden eel, octopus, UW vegetation in the first 3 m, sponges and sea urchins covering the rock formation deeper
Radazul (25 min. drive from Abades, 5 min. from Santa Cruz)
- Depth: 40 m for PADI divers
- Level: easy DEEP dive with easy access
- Characteristics: pelagic UW life spotted occasionally, trumpet fish, stingray, barracuda, steep sandy slope that drops to over 100 m - Aware of possible strong nitrogen narcosis beyond the Cross at 38 m.
Punta Prieta (15 min. drive from Abades)
- Depth: 30-40 m
- Level: boots required, DEEP dive
- Characteristics: black coral from 30m, moray eel, stingray, sardine, pelagic fish spotted occasionally, small caves, sponges and sea urchins covering rock formations.
Las Eras (10 min. drive from Abades)
- Depth: 16-40 m
- Level: boots required, difficult entry/exit point when rough sea, way back against strong current sometimes, easy to difficult dive depending on the sea condition
- Characteristics: trumpet fish, barracuda, tuna and pelagic fish occasionally, octopus, moray eel, garden eel at depth, stingray, nice wall with many small caves and tunnels, UW vegetation covering the rock formations between 0 and 18 m.
Poris (Mole) (5 minutes drive from Abades)
- Depth: 4-20m
- Level: easy dive, possible giant stride entry
- Characteristics: sponge covering interesting steep rock formations and beautiful walls, guelly jack, shrimps, starfish, stingray in the sandy areas, dive site sheltered from prevailing winds.
Poris (Port & Beach) (10 minutes drive from Abades)
- Depth: 2-18m
- Level: All levels, PADI School and trial dives as well, good alternative to Abades if the wind blows from the South
- Characteristics: lots of small colorful fish, colorful sponges covering the rocks at shallow depth, stingrays on the sandy areas below 10 m.
Poris old Mans Cove (10 minutes drive from Abades)
- Depth: 0-20 m
- Level: Intermediate, boots required
- Characteristics: rocky bottom with drops from 8 to 12 m and from 14 to 18 m, small cave and overhangs, electric ray, stingray, grouper, glass eyes, angelshark, barracuda, possible strong current at depth.
Los Abrigos Pools (15 minutes drive from Abades)
- Depth: 0-20 m
- Level: Easy dive, torch light required
- Characteristics: interesting rock formations & caves, abundant colorful small life in the caves.
Los Abrigos Cliff (15 Minutes drive from Abades)
- Depth: 0-8 m
- Level: Medium experience required
- Characteristics: excellent dive for macro-photography, abundant colorful small life on the rocks, stingray, many interesting overhang with a beautiful "swim-through" under the cliff.
Punta Amarillo (20 Minutes drive from Abades)
- Depth: 0-22 m
- Level: Easy Dive
- Characteristics: sandy bottom with nice rock formation and a "broken Arch", no current at all, stingray, moray eel, blacktail comber.
El Palm Mar (25 minutes drive from Abades)
- Depth: 0-40 m for PADI divers
- Level: boots required, UW scooter recommended, difficult entry at low tide, deep dive, medium experience required
- Characteristics: average visibility due to surrounding fish farms and many diving centres diving on this site, entry to deep caves, moray eels, stingray, early dive to be there before the other divers.

Notes:
Costs for qualified divers depend on the size of the group and on the number of dives. Packages do not have to be booked in advance excepted with big groups. Excellent accommodation on site in Abades, good value for the price. Guests who are on site dive cheaper as well, as there are less transfert costs.
