The rice fields and marshlands of eastern Argentina are a duck hunters paradise! We combine this fast paced action with afternoon Perdiz hunting over pointer dogs. Many of you are not similar with this partridge size member of the tinamou family. They explode off the ground like rockets and their erratic flight makes for a most challenging target.
Corrientes is the best place in Argentina for duck hunting. Ducks are hunted from blinds built with regional vegetation and decoys in the water. They are hunted normally just in the morning allowing the marshlands and the ducks to rest in the afternoon. After lunch we pursue Perdiz in the fields and pastures over pointer dogs. A hunter can expect to take 25 ducks and 10 Perdiz on the average day. The duck hunting season goes from May 1st to August 31st; which is the regular season. However, in March/April, we have special permits to hunt the rice before it's harvested. This special permit allows us to shoot ducks both morning and evening with a limit of 40! (no Perdiz hunting during these months). Accommodation is in a quality lodge located right in the middle of prime hunting fields. All meals, beverages and transportation are included. You will be met at the airport by our staff and a guide will be with you throughout your stay. You will have your own bird boy as well as an attentive staff at the lodge. Every detail of the hunt has been taken care of. We offer one of the finest programs in Argentina at a great price. Notes:
