It's a fun-filled, structured camping experience that combines short hikes with adventure activities. At the beginning of each program participants are issued small day packs, sleeping bags, tents, and all of the supplies needed for an exciting outdoor experience. Each program is intended to offer introductory experiences to a variety of age-appropriate outdoor activities. Each day will take them to new heights as they explore the outdoors. One-week programs will have a permanent campsite that will be their base of operations. Two-week Tracks programs will spend half their trip camping at a permanent campsite while improving their skills, the second half will be spent moving from campsite to campsite throughout the National Forest. Whether it's a one or two-week outdoor experience, each group will spend their nights sitting around a campfire and camping in tents. No previous experience is required as our leaders and instructors begin at an introductory level and slowly advance by teaching and promoting responsibility, stewardship, respect, and teamwork.
Sample Activities: caving, canoing, 900' zip line, natural water slide, climbing wall, rock climbing, low & high challenge courses, outdoor education, day hikes, flat-water kayak classes, camping, outdoor living skills, archery, fishing, soccer, tubing, and much more!
