Our company is a professional family based safari business having a very personal “hands on touch“. Our business mission statement is to "Treat you as we would wish to be treated and strive to give you a memorable hunting adventure!" While we don't promise to offer you the very biggest trophies all the time we do promise to give you the very best time we can and will work the hardest we can to ensure we can get you the very best trophies that are available at the time.

We have been operating for the last 22 years. This is backed up by a lifetime working in the bush. It’s our natural element and Jim has a passion for both hunting and fishing. He is a great source of knowledge about the wildlife.

We own and operate a 12000 acre sheep station in SW Queensland a close 2 1/2 drive from Brisbane. You will sole hunting access to these 12000 acres of what we call Traprock country (Hilly and rocky covered with eucalypti, acacias, tea trees, oak, cypress pine and many other native trees and shrubs). Great natural terrain much of it in its virgin state as has been for thousands of years. Our territory is a home for 5 species of deer and goats that roam here as well as the myriad of feral vermin and native wildlife.

Our hunts are in several regions in Australia totaling millions of acres allowing us to offer the very best in hunting and fishing to all our clients all year round. You will have the option of different hunting areas in Australia for deer or wild boar at our main lodge in SE Queensland and in the Northern Territory we hunt for buffalo and wild boar and then for the very remote wild boar and fishing trips in the Cape York of Australia. Each area offers something unique for your hunting experience.

When you book a hunt with us it is on a sole occupancy basis, meaning you or your party will be our only guests for the entire time you have booked with us, having sole use of the hunting grounds, this allows us to meet your personal and hunting requirements. We like to get to know our guests and give you a personalized glimpse of the bush.

- Wild Boar Hunting Safaris:

We offer the pig hunter two choices the first being our base camp is in southern Queensland (east of Brisbane) which offers wild boar hunts. These hunts while whilst great fun and good pig with no bag limits the wild boar. They are not comparable in size or number to the dangerous huge wild boars of the northern regions of Queensland where clients took 38 big boars in two days. The very vast northern reach of Queensland’s Gulf country is famous for huge pigs and spectacular fishing. The terrain is rugged but it is natural beauty of Australia's bush and adds to the adventure of the hunt.

- Northern Queensland Wild Boar hunts:

An adventure to northern Queensland flood plains that are filled with huge mobs of large boars (100 or more) and mixed with the odd crocodile and venomous snake just to make the adventure exciting! True crocodile man country. Unlimited huge boars of over 200 lbs as many as you can hunt imagine it! The opportunity comes along to take a dangerous feral bull. All hunts include rifle hire and full accommodations on hunt. Best times June to September due to weather.

- Wild Boar Hunts in South Eastern Queensland:

The pig hunting here is done on properties around the grain areas of the south western Queensland and whilst in drought there are still good mobs of pigs to hunt. The boars while not generally as large as their northern cousins are a definite challenge for any hunter and good sized mobs can be hunted each day. This is the adventure hunt of a life time; unlimited wild boar taking 5 to 6 large boars a day is not unexpected. Our wild boar trophies weigh between 120-200 kg.

Getting around on the hunts is by 4 WD drive and on 4 wheeler bikes. Closest airport is Brisbane. Accommodation on safari camp or station quarters. Weapons: bow or rifle, temporary permit required if bringing your own rifles into Australia (no automatics).

Pig hunting is combined with fresh water fishing for yellow belly, perch, bass and Murray cod. Fishing is great along many of the streams in the area but best times are from September to March/April for fishing but the pigs are available all year.

This hunt includes:
- Pigs charged only for caping out fee boiling out of tusks included;
- Air charters from Cairns to hunting area and return;
- Rifle hire and ammo if needed;
- Meals and accommodation whilst on hunt;
- Guide;
- Caping of trophy;
- Assistance with planning of your safari and travel itinerary.

- Deer Hunting:

Most of these hunts are on our 12000 acre sheep station in SE Queensland a comfortable 3 hour drive inland west from Brisbane. We offer some hunts just north of us in the Brisbane Valley as well. We have 5 species of deer and feral goats that roam the area. Find few of them described below:

* Fallow Deer - these are available in a range of colors black, white, menial and brown. They weight from 170-200lbs, their antlers are palmated with fine points being called spilliers. They rut from April and hunting is from February to August;

Chittal - these deer are strikingly marked and very graceful. Its tail is longer than most deer species .Best hunting is from February to August. Chittal have slender 6pt antlers with beam measurements seldom exceeding 4 inches. They stand 34" high at the shoulder and weigh 200 lbs. considered one of the prettiest Australian deer;

* Red Deer - these magnificent animals are 45 inches at the shoulder and about 300 lbs in weight. They are rich in colors with a buff patch around their rear. Their rut is from March to April. A good representative trophy will have well developed antlers of 6 pts and better;

Also we offer first class fresh water fishing for Silver and Golden perch as well as our native Catfish. These you can catch by using flies, lures or live bait. You can hunt for rabbits, ducks, pigs whilst on hunt or add on a trophy goat. Our wilderness areas are abundant with native wildlife and birds. Tours of local attractions is always offered to non-hunters these include markets, wineries antiques.

Mostly on the hunts you will have comfortable first class accommodations but our hunts are true hunts covering rough rugged terrain and sometimes this is not always possible but your comfort and safety is always paramount importance. All trips offer full accommodations rifle hire and lots of opportunities for observing the abundant and unique wildlife in the region.

- We offer two styles of accommodation:

* The Lodge accommodates up to 4 guests (all amenities & private facilities). The pole built lodge has wide cool verandas where you can just relax and watch the wildlife, deer, kangaroos, and wallabies in the homestead preserve. Many species of bird life abound here as they visit to feed off the many native trees planted in the lodge gardens.

* The Wilderness game observation camp accommodates up to 6 guests with bunk beds in central sleeping area with wide observation verandas. This early pioneer style wood cabin is situated on the banks of the local creek in the middle of the game preserve an ideal observation spot to watch the local animals come to water and feed or throw a fishing line in the nearby creek.

Also we will prepare for you our campfire cooking specialties. We will cook for you the specialty game meat you hunt or fresh fish accompanied by fresh local vegetables and fruit.
