Saltwater Fishing: Just to the west of Ross Hammock Ranch lies the rich sprawling salt water flat of the Gulf of Mexico. This provides year-round saltwater angling action. Depending on the season, our guests catch Tarpon (many over 100 pounds!), Cobia, Red Fish, Trout, Shark, Grouper, and other species.
Fresh Water Fishing: Ross Hammock Ranch offers freshwater trophy Bass fishing in local rivers or the 4,686 acre Lake Rosseau. One of the largest Bass ever caught in the State was recently taken on a plastic worm in this lake. It weighed in at 17.75 pounds and was 32 inches long!
