Day trips on our dive boat the M/Y EOS
Dolphin Excursions is also a P.A.D.I. - C.M.A.S. diving center since 1999.
We offer P.A.D.I. training from Open Water Diver to Divemaster;
we also propose a lot of P.A.D.I. specialities. D.S.D. available.
The first P.A.D.I. diving center in Djibouti, our instructors speaks French, English and Arabic.
The M/Y EOS is a 16m long and 6 m wide dive boat with a steel hull. It as a large rear diving platform, a bar and a very wide solaruim on the upper deck. Toilets, showers, deck showers, bar, living room with music and tv are available.
We rent diving gears and 12 liters DIN/INT dive cylinders in excellent conditions.
Dives in Djibouti are located in two distinctive area depending on the season.
From October to end of January the dive boats goes mainly to Arta region, located at around 3 hours by boat, where we snorkel with Whale Sharks and dive on various dive sites : The Dome, Ras Eiro, Deli, Shark Teeth etc...
From Januray to October we go to Musha and Maskali Islands located at 1 hour from Djibouti Town. There we dive on drop-offs, wreck, and coral garden: Salem Wreck, Orchard Reefer Wreck (150m cargo), Arthur Rimbault Wreck (Tug boat), Sunken Buey, Canyon etc...
Whale sharks and Manta ray are the big attraction but we can also see turtles, dolphin, maori wrasse, eagle rays, morey eels, coral sharks etc...
The visibility is not always excellent dut to the plankton in the Gulf, explaning why we encounter very often whale sharks.
