The Pigeon River offers some of the best whitewater in Manitoba. After taking a 40 minute float plane flight into the heart of the boreal forest you start a rollicking 7 days running through 50 class 2-4 rapids. There are also some class 5's but you'll likely get enough adrenaline without them.

We outfit our quality canoes with spray-skirts allowing a more comfortable and safe ride through the rapids. The Pigeon River is less traveled than the Bloodvein River and has a sense of remoteness that is only rivaled by our northern trips. Portages, where they exist, look barely trodden, campsites are numerous but they have a quality of innocence, as if you were the first down the river.
