Our guides will meet you at Tarara and guide you on a 7 mile canoe paddle (kayaks can also be used) on the Potomac River. This gentle stretch is rich in natural beauty and is perfect for novice and intermediates. You will finish back at Tarara where you will experience Tarara's award winning wines in the privacy of the outdor pavilion. Linen tablecloths and their Reserve Wine glass set the stage for comprehensive wine education. You will sample seven of Tarara's premium wines including two Reserve Wines. Wine tasting includes a tasting of their famous Wild River Red served with Ghirardelli premium chocolate. This event also includes a private guided tour of their wine making cave. The paddle and Wine Tour is an exquisite event. It is great for corporate groups, couples, wine connoisseurs, and anyone who can appreciate the love of river and wine. Intenirary: Meet at Tarara at 12 pm for Canoe paddle, return back to Tarara at 3:30 pm for Wine Tour. Starting time can be altered for private groups.
