You will experience a vibrant myriad of underwater sea life unparalleled anywhere else in the world. Corals, sea fans, sea urchins, and an endless number of reef fish put on a colorful display. Even Manta Rays have been spotted here on occasion. You will also be able to relax in the shade of the coconut palms at Rendezvous Caye or soak up the sun on the beach of this cozy little island that lies on the reef in the middle of the ocean.
11:50 PM: Depart Belize.
To begin with you will be picked up, as your powerboat moors right next to the dock where you will embark on your Absolute Paradise Snorkeling Adventure! You will be briefed before heading out to Rendezvous Caye, 40 minutes from the City. (During the briefing you will be introduced to your crew and you will be briefed on: the waiver signing, ‘rules of the boat’, the type of equipment onboard, snorkeling location, use of snorkeling equipment, the time breakdown of the trip, snacks & beverages onboard and emergency procedures.)
12:30 AM - 03:30 PM: Arrive at and snorkel off Rendezvous Caye.
You will arrive at your destination at 12:30 PM where you will snorkel the warm, crystal turquoise waters off Rendezvous Caye on The World’s 2nd Largest Barrier Reef, an official World Heritage site! You will experience a vibrant myriad of underwater sea life unparalleled anywhere else. Corals, sea fans, sea urchins, and an endless number of reef fish put on a colorful display. You will also be able to relax in the shade of the coconut palms at Rendezvous Caye, soak up the sun on the beach of this cozy little island that lies on the reef, or explore the shoreline where you will discover seashells and natural treasures alike.
Your crew will be more than happy to serve you a soda or a snack from the variety of goodies we have taken for you. When snorkeling your guide will be in the water with you and point out different underwater life-forms and explain their role as part of the Coral Reef’s ecosystem as well as educate you on the reef ecosystem and its role as part of the larger hydrosphere. Kindly be sure not to touch fish or underwater plants in order to avoid injury to yourself and your environment. You must snorkel with a buddy and stay with the guide at all times.
3:30 PM: Depart for Belize.
You depart from Rendezvous Caye and ride back for 40 minutes back to the city. Enjoy the view of Belize’s picturesque mountain line and/or Belize’s sunny coast lined with vibrant green mangrove islands that can be seen from on board or just sit back and enjoy the balmy Caribbean winds. Any questions about any part of the tour can be addressed to your crew. Your guides love what they do and welcome the opportunity to speak on Belize’s history and splendor.
4:10 PM: Arrive in Belize.
Once back at the ship you will be assisted in exiting and thanked for snorkeling with us. Your entire tour time with us is a little over four hours.
