The village is located about 90 km northwest of Split on Murter peninsula. During the period between May and November we go for Red Tuna, weighing up to 400 kg, Swordfish, Tresher Shark, Amberjack, Albacore and Palamidas. This is the first fishing area after the last island group called Kornati.
Target time is about 30 minutes. After this island group we have open sea all the way to Italy. On two-day tours we go fishing near an uninhabited island, 45 miles away. There the sea is 200 meters deep. During the day we fish Tuna and at night Swordfish and Sharks. The weight of Swordfish comes up to 90 kg, Tresher Sharks come up to 150 kg and Blue Sharks are over 100 kg.
Ours boats are 28 - 35 feet long with high speed about 20 knots. The boat equipment is complete with radar, fish finder, deep-sensors and GPS. We have also a fighting chair, outriggers, down riggers, rods and two-speed rods from 30 - 130 lbs. Most of the time we practice drift - fishing on Tuna and Sharks.
