Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: A short drive from Escalante will bring us to the trail head and fantastic views of sandstone towers and deep canyons. We will descend from the bench into the canyon. As the walls grow taller, we will see historic cowboy-glyphs and make camp in the shade of cottonwood trees.
Day 2: Today we visit massive Phipps Arch, delicate Maverick Natural Bridge, and soaring Bowington Arch. We’ll exit the canyon to spend a night of unobstructed stargazing on the slick rock expanse.
Day 3: After a morning of true desert hiking, navigating our way over and around sandstone domes and valleys, we will wind our way back to the trail head.
