The PADI Scuba Diver course is suitable for anyone from age 10 and up. This course usually takes 2-3 days and includes:
- 3 confined (shallow water) dives
- 2 Open Water dives
- 3 knowledge development sessions.
The reason people opt for the PADI Scuba Diver course is usually because:
- They prefer to start on this course and upgrade to Open Water at any time
- They only ever want to dive with an instructor or dive master
- They do not feel confident enough to dive unsupervised with a buddy
- They prefer to remain at shallower depths.
Schedule of PADI Scuba Diver Course:
- June 14/15, 18/19, 21/22
- July 5/6, 12/13, 19/20
- Aug 9/10, 18/19, 23/24
- Every Tuesday and Wednesday
Notes:
- It is not necessary to take the PADI Scuba Diver Course before the PADI Open Water Course, you can start straight away on either course. If you chose to do the PADI Scuba Diver Course, you can upgrade to the Open Water course at any time.
- For all diving activities, certain medical conditions may require you to have authorization from your doctor. If you tick yes to any of the items on the medical form, you must get authorization to dive before you come.
