PADI Assistant Instructors carry out a variety of roles including assisting instructors on courses, organizing dive activities, leading certified divers on dives and conducting scuba review and local orientation dives. In addition, PADI Assistant Instructors may also teach knowledge development portions of courses and may conduct certain training dives under the indirect supervision of a certified instructor.
This course runs over 3 days and covers a wide range of knowledge development topics, as well as learning how to effectively teach knowledge development topics to students. Schedule for Assistant Instructor course cover June and August 2008.
