This course differs from the PADI Scuba Diver Course in that you are certified to dive with a buddy, and not specifically with an instructor or dive master. It is typically run over 2 weekends or 4 days and includes 5 confined water dives (sheltered sea or the pool in Winter), 4 Open Water dives and 5 knowledge development sessions.
Schedule of PADI Open Water Course:
- June 14/15, 21/22
- July 5/6, 12/13, 19/20
- Aug 9/10, 18-21, 23/24
- Every Tuesday-Friday
Note: For all diving activities, certain medical conditions may require you to have authorization from your doctor. If you tick yes to any of the items on the medical form, you must get authorization to dive before you come.
