Hi, I am Chris, a Beijing native and an idependent tour guide in the city. I am quite easy-going, flexible, honest and reliable. I have very strong sense of responsibility and with that, I can guarantee that you have a comfortable trip in Beijing. Over the years, I have had enough tour guiding experience which I list below to attest to my excellence.
During 2004 to 2005, I worked for CITS(China International Travel Service) as a part-time job, though part-time, they've assigned me with almost equal amount of work to those whole-time guides. During this period, I have shown hundreds of individual tourists and groups around in Beijing. They all were quite satisfied with what I offer and some among them have become friends with me and are still making frequent email contacts. In 2006, I entred college and found more chance guiding foreigners around Beijing, and most of them are the international friends I got to know in college. So most of the guiding service I provided during this period were free of any charge. I enjoyed the companion I had with them and realized that companionship is part of what the tourist seek while traveling. So I do not simply treat my tourist as someone that can bring me with money, I treat them as friends, as guests. In 2007, I took part in a Beijing International Tourism Festival, during which I again guided many many international friends and this only further enhanced my guiding performance. In 2008, I volunteered for the Olympic Games. I didn't do any guiding but I really am satisfied with what I did as a volunteer. I have ads on other sources that connect me with many tourists and in the past few years, I have guided many international guests, as individuals or as groups. To me, responsibility and flexibility are two essential elements that shape good tour guide. I always bear this in mind while guiding my guests and that's why I always provide what they say as " impressive, excellent, and well-done"... While traveling, I follow your itinerary. I can also help make an itinerary if you don't have one. I follow your pace and decision, if you want to choose the public transports, good; if you want to rent a car, OK; if you are tired and want to stop for a rest or....OK! It is always OK with me and that's what I call as "easy-going". Your Itinerary: Day 1: The Forbidden City, The Temple of Heaven. Day 2: Beihai Park, Lama Temple. Day 3: Olympic Stadium. Day 4: Summer Palace and Great Wall. You don't have to follow our schedules, we follow yours! We can also provide restaurant and accommodation recommendations and bookings. And we can take you to the best and most interesting shops, where you can purchase wonderful Chinese products for yourself, both traditional and modern. So, please join me for an inside look at this exciting city! I promise to offer the best I can! Welcome to Beijing! Member discount: Notes:
