You may start with a home lecture. Imagine being the privileged guest of honor at the home of art historian Drs. Kees Kaldenbach. While sipping a fragrant cup of coffee or tea, you listen to a personalized (private or small-group) lecture and discussion on the astounding visual wonders that Rembrandt has bestowed upon us.
Afterwards, a short ride in my private car or 15 minutes by by tram takes us to the nearby Rijksmuseum (additional entry fee). In the museum I will show you the extraordinary quality of both painters. The visual wonders of Rembrandt's technique; contents, brushstrokes, details, composition, color. The way Vermeer handles light and surface textures and above all, their mastery of psychology of how you observe paint and make sense of what they present on their surfaces.

Introduction in Dutch, English or German + translations into Japanese or Chinese) are given in plain, accessible language. Thus you will be the beneficiary of tailor made scholar lectures* during your travels.
- This lecture is available at times which we mutually agree, 7 days a week. Bookings are required ahead of time.
