We offer wonderful, exciting, personal (NOT group) tours, tailored to you and your interests. Among the wonderful sights you will see and the fabulous things you will do. Walk on the rooftops of the Old City for spectacular and unique view, stroll along its narrow byways, bargain in the markets, taste all kinds of ethnic foods like authentic knafe, humus and sahlab! You might descend into an underground Byzantine neighborhood, can leave a note at the Wailing (Western) Wall, explore the City of David and walk through the famous, 2700-hundred-year-old Shiloah Tunnel.
You will definitely visit the Jewish Quarter which - ancient and modern - is like no other neighborhood in the world. We may include, in your tour, the Quarter's museums (in houses 2000 years old!) and synagogues destroyed in the last war tht have been restored. Perhaps we will take you through the Moslem Quarter, to Mamaluke buildings centuries old, to the Christian Quarter with its famous and historic churches.
You will want to visit modern Jerusalem as well - a city that dates back only to 1860. What fun you will have strollling through its lanes and alleyways, learning about Jerusalem in the 19th century - and about the War for Independence in 1948. You might follow the City Line - the division between Eastern and Western Jerusalem until the city was reunited in 1967 by the bravery of Israel's soldiers in the Six Day War. And, of course, you will want to try Jerusalem's coffee shops and restaurants, walk her new pedestrian malls that were actually built in the 19th century! You won't want to miss the Jewish marketplace, a marvelous place to visit, along with little corners of the city off the beaten track!
