We start the from the Old town, you'll pass through the street of the Knights of St.John of Jerusalem and you get at the impressive restore Palaca of the Grand Masters. We continue to the entrance of the old harbor where the famous Colossus of Rhodes once stood, and then past the many hotel complexes we drive up to the Acropolis of Rhodes, from that point you will enjoy excellent panotamic view. Than we visit the Temple of Apollo, the Greek Stadium and the Greek amphitheater.
We continue our tour to Lindos along 35-miles drive of east coast of the island, past beautiful small villages, with many gnarled olive trees. Before we enter in Lindos the impressive Acropolis will come into view with the village situated in a pictures with a bay below. This is a panoramic view! We drive south of Lindos, to St. Paul's Bay which is also a magnificent view. Then we drive to the main square of Lindos so you can visit the village and climb up to the Acropolis. This view is really impressive. To reach Lindos Acropolis you will be required to climb or ride on a donkey 292 steps, entrance fee is approx. 6 euro per person in the Acropolis no charge to enter Lindos village. If you wish you could add on this tour lunch or ever swimming on the sandy beach of Lindos. On the way back we drive along the coastal road to Faliraki, a beautiful sandy beach. Upon returning to Rhodes Town, you may choose to be dropped off to your hotel, or your cruise ship, or near the city gates of the Old Town for independent browsing. Notes:
