This day trip takes you to a castle town, Kawagoe by public transportation with a national certified English speaking tour guide. It is only half an hour train ride from Tokyo.

During the Edo Era(1603-1867), it flourished under the strong influence of the Tokugawa Shogunate. (Edo is Tokyo's old name.)
There are a lot of cultural heritages and historical remains of that age such as Old Storehouses, Kitain Temple with 538 stone statues, and Bell Tower. That is why people call the city "Little Edo-Kawagoe". If you visit there, you will feel as if you slipped back in time of the Edo Era. Enjoy the retrospective atmosphere in Kawagoe!
