Harajuku is one of the trendsetting areas in Japan. New cultures and fashion trends are created here and spread to the rest of the country. Just west of Harajuku Station, solemn Meiji Jingu Shinto Shrine is located. The atmosphere is totally different and serene in the shrine. Not only young people but also adults can enjoy shopping and some historic sights in Harajuku.
