The British Museum has an outstanding collection of artefacts from ancient civilisations from all over the world. It is one of the largest and fascinating treasure houses in the world and contains artefacts from all corners and continents of the world including Egyptian mummies, Greek sculpture and Roman treasure. The British Museum tour is led by Nicola who has been leading tours in the Museum since 2002. Your visit can either be a straightforward tour of the Museum's highlights such as the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon marbles and carvings from the ancient Assyrian civilisations, or Nicola can tailor make the tour to suit your own needs, itinerary and interests and time available. The Museum is a vast space but we can quickly find the objects that may of special interest to you.
Nicola has a Masters degree in Fine Art and a passion for art and culture. She is a Registered London Tourist Guide so can also adapt your tour to take in other museums and galleries that you might want to see in London during your visit. Your group can consist of up to 25 people, or can just be yourself and your family. She has been guiding in the museum and in London with adult, college, school and family groups since 2002.
