Cave-Tubing
Your driver and tour guide will pick you up from your Hotel or the Ship dock. You will be driven to Caves Branch archaeological reserve, the real fun place. You will be expected to pay a modest entrance fee to the park, where you'll find a changing room, gift shop, restaurant and bar. Don't be too quick to get tipsy, or you just might get dipsy. Wet shoes and dry bags are available for rent.
The scenery is most beautiful and the walk through the rain forest doesn't feel long at all since your guide will point out the different kinds of birds and trees on the way, you can ask questions and stop to take pictures, you may encounter some mosquitoes, don't forget to bring your mosquito repellent.
The pathway is damp; the rain forest is always moist even on hot days so you need to bring your wet shoes to walk whilst carrying your tube and light provided for you by your friendly guide to the entrance of the cave. Now this is where adventure begins!!!
Once coming out of the cave a friend lost his control and turned over. Now that was funny! Fortunately he had no valuables on him and his headlight was on his head, where it should have been. A bit tired but exhilarated you can rest while being driven back to your ship or your hotel. Hungry after so much activity? Well, we could stop for some food at a restaurant. Who knows, maybe you will even have time and energy left to do some shopping before you board your ship or go back to your Hotel.
The next day you will be taken to explore the Wonders of Altun-Ha hold-on for an adventure!
Altun-Ha
After you are met and greeted by your enthusiastic and friendly guide, you will be escorted to your transport for your one hour and fifteen minutes drive in fully air conditioned comfort to the site of Altun Ha that flourished from 200 B.C. to 900A.D. At the site you will be expected to pay a modest entrance fee to the site.
It’s a fully guided tour from the time you leave the tourism village until you step out of the site, along the way you will be driving through several villages of which your guide will brief you about, also along the journey you will learn about the different ecosystems our country is made up of.
The Belize Zoo
30 miles out of the City is where you will find amid lush vegetation "The Belize Zoo", you will be expected to pay the entrance fee of $8.00 Enjoy a close-up view of the local fauna, which includes natural surroundings. Take as much pictures as you would like. Your professional guide will answer your questions and will make the day most enjoyable for you and your family. The Baboon Sanctuary
24 Miles from Belize City in the village of Bermudian Landing is the "Baboon Sanctuary" the home of the Howler Monkey. Along the way you will pass through several villages by the river valley. The Baboon live among the trees by the river side a guide will take you through a nature path to meet them, you can even greet them with a hand shake or a mild caress. You will be expected to pay a modest entrance fee and bring along with you comfortable clothes and shoes, bug spray, sunscreen lotion, water and a adventurous spirit. Come tour Belize with us!
