Leeds Castle, set on two islands on the River Len in the heart of Kent, has been home to royalty, lords and ladies for over 1000 years. Visitors are transported through 900 years of the castle’s history; an eclectic mix of period architecture, sumptuous interiors and family treasures waiting to be discovered.
A visit to Chartwell is your chance to get to know one of Britain’s greatest leaders, Winston Churchill, on a very intimate level. This was the house that was acquired by WLSC in his wilderness years in the 1920’s.
It was greatly modified by him to suit his gargantuan grip on life. Not only this but this is a large and very delightful house and grounds to visit, always leaving visitors with a specially warm feeling about their personal pilgrimage to the saviour of the free world.
HEVER CASTLE ~ Be inspired to come and visit this thirteenth century romantic castle - once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Set in magnificent gardens from the majestic formal Italian Garden and topiary, to the informal meanderings of the lakeside and Sunday Walk. The Water Maze on Sixteen Acre Island and the Yew Maze challenges both adults and children alike!
