On March 22th 2012 the largest flower and plant exhibition of the world in Lisse, Netherlands opens again for 8 weeks its doors for the 'green fingers' and nature lovers. You can enjoy huge fields of flowers in the great outdoors, and even better, you'll almost inevitably spend half a day touring Keukenhof Gardens, a 70-acre showcase for the Dutch flower industry. These famous gardens draw an estimated 1 million visitors to see a changing display of more than 7 million flowers including some 1,000 varieties of tulips alone. The Keukenhof exhibition closes on May 20th. 2012. After having spent at least 3 hours watching flowers, we continue this tour to the sandy beach of Holland for a quick view. Then we drive to Haarlem with a visit to the famous St.Bavo Cathedral. We finalyze this trip with a magnificent ride between Haarlem and Amsterdam.
