In Catalunya Modernism is equivalent to Art Nouveau in France. The Eixample is Barcelona´s extension designed by Idelfons Cerdŕ in 1859. Around Paseo de Gracia are concentrated most od the important examples of Modernism architecture with works by genius Antoni Gaudí, Lluís Domčnech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch with La Manzana de la Discordia, Fundació Tapičs, Casa Milá, Casa Fuster, Casa Baró de Quadras, Casa de les Puntxes. In the distric of the Temple of Sagrada Familia Holy family is located also the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau.
Itinerary for half day: We will visit Passeig de Grŕcia, Lluís Domčnech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch with La Manzana de la Discordia, Fundació Tapičs, Casa Milá, Casa Fuster, Casa Baró de Quadras, Casa de les Puntxes. In the district of the Temple of Sagrada Familia Holy family.
