This 3-4 hour tour can be taken as a morning or early afternoon tour and be pre-booked. The tour begins with a trip to the top of Mt Eden to view the crater of this extinct volcano and to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Auckland City and environs.
Leaving Mt Eden our tour continues through the elegant suburb of Epsom, into the Auckland Domain to the Auckland Museum. We spend approximately 1 ˝ hours exploring the museum, and, if the tour coincides with one of the daily Maori Concert and Cultural shows that take place in the museum, guests have the option of attending the concert.
Following the tour of the museum, guests can partake of light refreshments in the museum café. Leaving the museum we travel through the Orakei Marae then to the Auckland waterfront and Kelly Tarltons Underwater World where guests can enjoy the Antarctic experience before visiting the Aquarium.
After visiting Kelly Tarltons, we continue around the Auckland Waterfront to St Heliers and Achilles Point, where guests can enjoy wonderful views of the inner harbor, the city islands of the Hauraki Gulf. Traveling back through St Heliers via Aucklands Eastern Suburbs, we return to the city and the point of departure.
Option: Instead of traveling to the topo of Mt Eden, guests have the option of visiting the Auckland Shy Tower.
