Tour Itinerary:
Warmly welcomed by our tour guide and driver when picking you up at your hotel at the agreed time upon reservation, and then set off for the Thirteen Ming Tombs and Badaling Great Wall in Changping District having collected all the tourists for the coach tour from the respective hotels.
Driving along Badaling Expressway, when approaching Thirteen Ming Tombs, best preserved and have the greatest number of tombs of emperors in the world, you will see magnificent Marble Arch, the symbol of Ming Tombs, Big Red Gate, Sacred Way and Stone Carvings of Animals from the coach and visit Changling, the mausoleum of Emperor Yongle who was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. He was the most famous historical figure among the Ming Emperors.
It’s time for lunch, and you are bound to be hungry and have a big appetite. Have lunch at Longdi Jade Carving Factory Restaurant. After lunch you have the chance to learn about Chinese jade and they will show you the whole process of jade carvings. There is a variety of exquisite jade products on display and you can buy some nice souvenirs for your family and friends back home.
After lunch, on the way of driving for Badaling, you will see the magnificent Juyongguan Pass, one of the three most famous passes of the Great wall, as well as one of the eight ancient beauties of Beijing scenic spots. Later on, we will arrive at Badaling, the best preserved section of the Great Wall. Climb up the Great Wall, well-known for the longest defense wall in the world. What a great experience! You will become “a true man, heroes and heroines on the Great Wall” as the old Chinese saying goes. (Cable Car is optional)
Afterwards, leave for downtown. Seen from the coach on the way back, “Bird’s Nest”, National Stadium of Beijing Olympic Games, Olympic Flame Platform and “Water Cube”, Olympic Swimming Center will show off their splendid architectures in front of you and you can take pictures of the historical place for international sport events.
Drop you off at your hotel and finish the pleasant tour of the day.
