Machovo Lake is very beautiful and it was named after a poet. Natural white sandy beaches with high, bent pine trees. Next to it a forested hill with a medieval castle on the top - Bezdez Castle. We climb to the castle, swim in the lake and have food in the picturesque little town on the shore. To get there we deliberately take the slightly longer scenic route. This tour could also be planned after Terezin concentration camp, to lighten up the mood.
